Intended learning outcomes

After completed course, the students are supposed to

  • show an overall knowledge of intellectual property law and market law
  • on their own hand, solve minor juridical questions within “Intellectual Property Rights”
  • be able to follow and understand juridical discussions

Course content

The focus of the course will be on the Intellectual Property Rights. The legal issues of Patents, Trademarks, Design and Copyright will be discussed, as well as the questions on the different possibilities of protecting computer soft- and hardware. Questions related to the commercialisation of IP rights throughout license- agreements, Trade secrets and the marketing legislation will also be included in the course.

About teaching and examination language
