Intended learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide fundamental knowledge of still and motion picture production, covering the entire process from planning to delivery. The course addresses the technical, aesthetic, and narrative aspects of both still and motion picture production.

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• Plan, execute, and deliver still and motion picture productions in line with client specifications.

• Explain and justify technical, aesthetic, and narrative choices related to their own still and motion picture productions.

• Understand and apply standards for resolution and compression formats.

• Utilize digital tools and methods for post-production of still and motion images.

Course content

  • Camera and lighting techniques.
  • Sound recording and sound design.
  • Digital photography and film capture.
  • Image manipulation and retouching.Hands-on work with image editing and manipulation.
  • Practical work with editing tools and techniques.
  • Storage and distribution of digital files.

About teaching and examination language
