Course description

This course addresses French speaking exchange students at Linköping University who wish to discover todays Sweden. On the one hand, contemporary questions are discussed in order to contribute to deeper understanding of the Swedish society. On the other hand, an important part of the course aims to take into account individual interests of the course participants. In the course will be organized regular cultural meetings with Swedish speaking students intending to go studying in a French speaking country.

Le cours s’adresse aux étudiants francophones à l’université de Linköping qui souhaitent découvrir la Suède d’aujourd’hui. Il s’agira, d’une part, de discuter et de comprendre les questions auxquelles fait face la société suédoise contemporaine. Une partie importante du cours prendra, d’autre part, en compte les centres d’intérêt des participants. De plus, des échanges avec des étudiants suédophones désirant partir étudier dans un pays francophone seront organisés afin de permettre la mise en place de rencontres entre les cultures.

Examination

Students failing an exam covering either the entire course or part of the course twice are entitled to have a new examiner appointed for the reexamination.

Students who have passed an examination may not retake it in order to improve their grades.
