Intended learning outcomes

The general aim of the course is that the student should develop a basic communicative ability in Spanish. This is made in a context where the student develops basic knowledge of Spanish-speaking social systems with an emphasis on the legal and market policy conditions for companies, as well as economic and financial information.

On completion of the course, the students should, in speech and writing, and with such precise language that it can be understood and accepted by a person in the Spanish language area, be able to
- describe the legal and market policy conditions for companies in Spain
- describe companies' economic and financial information in their country/language area
- identify and discuss differences and similarities in these conditions and economic information in relation to Swedish conditions.

Course content

The course builds on the introductory language course Communicate in Spanish 1. Through the study of documents with primarily social and economic contents, the linguistic communication ability is trained towards more linguistic precision in a context that is relevant for the education as a whole. The course contents are related, among other things, to the previous courses within the programme in the field of economics: Organization, Microeconomics, Commercial and Business Law I, Financial Accounting and Management Control.
