The general aim is that the students should develop a basic communicative ability in Spanish. This is done in a context where the students develop an awareness of how organisations and companies communicate with the market in the language area.
On completion of the course, the students should, in speech and writing, and with such precise language that it can be understood and accepted by a person in the Spanish language area, be able to
- use basic concepts and models to describe marketing problems
- describe culturally distinctive features and conditions in marketing communication in the language area
- communicate the results of their learning in the fields of the course, both orally and in writing.
Course content
The course builds on the course Marketing, 7 HE credits, which covers basic questions about marketing, mainly in consumer markets, and discusses different views on marketing of goods and services. Concepts and issues that are covered more generally in the marketing course will have a more language domain specific touch within the framework of this course, both in respect to vocabulary and culturally distinctive features, primarily in the subarea of marketing communication.
