Course content

The student should, for 10 weeks, work full time under prevalent conditions and relations in a workplace within the cultural sector that the student has arranged independently. There, the student should carry out tasks according to the placement plan: a project, an investigative assignment, a study, or corresponding, that is of benefit to the current workplace.

It should contain a summarising account of the workplace and tasks. Furthermore, the practical training report should contain a reflection on the role and importance for the own education of the placement and how the knowledge man acquired in the programme has could be implemented under the placement. In addition, it should contain a reflection on the own role at work process.
The supervisor at the workplace should at the end of the placement period write a certificate of completed placement.
Approved practical training report along with a certificate from the supervisor on the workplace of completed placement is required to pass the course.

If the LiU coordinator for students with disabilities has granted a student the right to an adapted examination for a written examination in an examination hall, the student has the right to it. If the coordinator has instead recommended for the student an adapted examination or alternative form of examination, the examiner may grant this if the examiner assesses that it is possible, based on consideration of the course objectives.

Students failing an exam covering either the entire course or part of the course twice are entitled to have a new examiner appointed for the reexamination.
