The course is mainly based on laboratory exercises and it aims at the development of the student’s ability to perform experimental chemical work, either for further studies in chemistry, or for a career as school teacher in chemistry. After passing the course the student is able to:
- describe some methods qualitative inorganic analysis
- describe the fundamentals of descriptive inorganic chemistry
Course content
Qualitative chemical analysis of cations and anions. Redox chemistry. Descriptive inorganic chemistry.
Teaching and working methods
The course consists of seminars and laboratory exercises.
The course runs over the entire spring semester.
