Intended learning outcomes

After the course the student should be able to

  • Use models and theories concerning organisation, management and control of various industrial projects.
  • Motivate project models and methods considering the project context and conditions.
  • Explain the consequences of project leadership for individuals, groups and result.

Course content

Project methods and tools. Project planning. Research of industrial project management. The project manager’s role. Different types of projects and project control

Teaching and working methods

The course comprises of lectures and seminars, as well as application of project methods in assignments.
