Course content
From the theory and method traditions of the discipline, the course includes independent studies of a problem in history of religion or anthropology of religion by means of current research literature.
Teaching and working methods
The course work mainly consists of independent thesis work. In addition, there will be teaching in the form of supervision, seminars and a presentation seminar. The seminars in all cases imply work that should be carried out in advance. The results are presented in writing and defended at a thesis seminar. The course also includes discussing other students' thesis plans and completed theses. In addition to this, the student should study independently.
Examination
The course is examined through defending the own essay at a seminar discussion and normally also by publicly discussing others' essays.
