Intended learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get fundamental knowledge in the production of still images and video, from planning to delivery. The course mainly covers the technical aspects of image and film production.
After completing the course, students are expected to be able to
- Plan and execute the production of still images and video of high technical quality.
- Implement fundamental principles of camera technic and photographic lightning.
- Use digital tools and methods for image editing of still images and video.
- Deliver still images and video regarding format, compression and resolution.
Course content
- Camera- and lighting technics.
- Digital photography and video recording.
- Image manipulation and retouch
- Practical work in image editing and image manipulation.
- Practical work in editing of video.
- Storage and distribution of images and videos.
The course mainly covers photographic stills and film, not illustration, animation or computer generated images.

About teaching and examination language
